We then head back to the Lodge for a full breakfast or optionally enjoying a packed breakfast in the middle of nowhere exploring the endless Serengeti Plains. Please note: packing our breakfast is optional, however, it gives you more time for game drives instead of rushing back to camp and returning back to the area to continue the game drive.

After a hot lunch, we will journey from the wide-open plains to the Kopjes, volcanic rocky outcrops that provide protection and shelter for a wide variety of animals. From the top, we will be able to look out across the vast grasslands. Rest assured, our drivers keep a safe distance to make sure the wild animals are not disturbed in their daily routine.

You will enjoy a packed lunch in the middle of the Great Wildebeest Migration, exploring over 1.5 million Wildebeest as well as elephants, giraffes, zebras and much more. You will also see lions, hyena and if you are lucky you can spot an African hunting wild dog.

THE ULTIMATE SAFARI DESTINATION

Tanzania boasts unparalleled concentrations of wildlife – there is no country that can compete with the sheer number and density of wild animals. Tanzania is home to the famous “Great Migration” and more National Parks than any other African country – including two of the most renowned wildlife parks in the entire world. It is also a politically stable and safe country with gracious, respectful people and very little crime.

PRIVATE VEHICLES

No mixed groups, no competing for views with strangers and no conflicting interests. You will enjoy the exclusive use of a private vehicle providing maximum flexibility, comfort and wildlife viewing.

SUNRISE SAFARIS

We offer early morning (before sunrise) game drives to exclusively witness predators in action and herbivores in their more active states. We’ll pack a breakfast to enjoy in the pristine ambience of the bush while the package tours are having their “buffet” meals back at the lodge or campsites.

UNLIMITED GAME DRIVES

Each safari offers unlimited game drives with no mileage restrictions and exclusive access to the most secluded and wildlife abundant areas in Tanzania. Most other companies operate shorter, limited game drives and never end up making it far from the lodge – or other tourists.

PERSONALIZED EXPERIENCE

You are in complete control of when, where and how long you want to stay out on a game drive. You choose what animals you want look for, how long you stay at each sighting and when you return – it’s all up to you!

PROFESSIONAL DRIVER GUIDES

On safari you will receive complete and focused attention by your professional driver-guide, with the expert knowledge and skills required to make sure you have the trip of a lifetime.

FLEXIBLE TRAVEL

By choosing Wild Root Safaris, you have the luxury of setting your own agenda (with our help, of course) and you won’t be shuffled through rigid itineraries and fixed timetables that other companies often require you to adhere to.

MAXIMIZED WILDLIFE VIEWING

All of our itineraries are strategically designed on a monthly basis to take advantage of seasonal wildlife concentrations, and all safaris incorporate specific game drives to witness all of the Big Five.

WIDE VARIETY OF ACTIVITIES

Choose from a large selection of unique optional activities including authentic cultural tours, scenic flights, field talks, balloon safaris, bush picnics and walking safaris.

SAFETY IS OUR PRIORITY

Your safety is our ultimate priority. We pride ourselves in offering our guests comfort and peace of mind. We are local operators and our office based in Tanzania to support all segments of your trip. All of our safaris are fully escorted and chauffeured from arrival to departure.
